PFC Associates, LLC, will develop and practice innovative approaches to appraising, initiating, maintaining, and restoring the physical, psychological and emotional health of Police Officers, Firefighters and other members covered in the District of Columbia whom we serve.
PFC's health care providers and staff are committed to maintaining confidentiality at the Police and Fire Clinic. Records are maintained in accordance with the statutory provisions of the Comprehensive Merit Personnel Act and the implementing regulations found in the District Personnel Manual. Clinical staff adhere to the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine's Code of Ethical Conduct, which is aimed at protecting the privacy of employee medical information.
In addition, the Behavioral Health Service follow the ethical guidelines put forth by the American Psychological Association Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct, Title IV District of Columbia Code-Mental Health Information Act, Psychological Guidelines for Issues in Law Enforcement, Police Psychological Services Section, International Association of Chiefs of Police.
